Bank Al Falah Ltd. is looking at investment opportunities in Pakistan, the bank’s chairman said on Wednesday.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, chairman of the bank, was quoted by the Gulf New as saying that his institution was committed to the economic development of Pakistan.
"We would like to take this opportunity to re-affirm our deep sense of commitment towards economic development of Pakistan. Bank Al Falah is poised to add ten more branches to its existing network in the current year to reach out to a large number of prospective customers," Sheikh Nahyan said.
"We are also looking at various other opportunities of investment in Pakistan in the foreseeable future, either directly, or through our other colleagues and friends in Abu Dhabi," he said.
