Dubai-based GAC Logistics has opened its first office in Scotland, as part of the Group’s ongoing commitment to developing its logistics network in the United Kingdom.
The new office in Glasgow adds to GAC’s current stable of logistics offices across the United Kingdom, including London Heathrow, Manchester, East Midlands, Newcastle, and Bournemouth.
Fully operational from 1 October, GAC Logistics (Scotland) offers a full range of freight forwarding and distribution services to meet the logistics demands of manufacturers and distributors in the country’s perishable products sector.
“GAC’s operational presence in Glasgow will enable us to meet the growing demand for efficient and time-definite delivery of food and beverage products to and from Scotland. By providing better coverage, the Group is able to better market its service directly to customers”, commented Dennis Mead, Managing Director for GAC Logistics UK.
