In the framework of its relief aid to Afghan refugees, a UAE Red Crescent Society (RCS) plane carrying some forty tons of foodstuffs is scheduled to depart for Quetta, Pakistan on Sunday, according to Emirates News Agency.

The relief supplies are to be distributed to about 10,000 Afghan refugees in camps near the Pakistani-Afghan border. The camps are administered by the RCS, which also runs a field clinic offering specialized services. (Albawaba.com)
