The Algeria-based University for Continuing Education - UFC (l'Universite de la Formation Continue) organized during May 26 to May 27 an international conference on Maghrebian universities and the challenges of globalization. The conference was held under the patronage of the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and organized in partnership with the Europe Maghreb Institute in Paris, the Mohamed V Souici de Rabah University, the CADI Ayyad de Marrakech University and the Tunisia Gabes University.
<i>La Nouvelle Republique</i> reports that about 50 specialists, from various countries, took part in the conference, which mainly focused on the challenges faced by universities in the Maghreb countries.
