Laughter is known to be contagious and Sahara Centre has proved this in abundance by hosting an entertaining clown show at the mall as part of its Sharjah Spring Promotion 2010. Audiences gathered in large numbers to watch the witty show that also comprised a bicycle and superman show.
Usually referred to as ‘Duo Smile’ – the Ukrainian couple showcased an entertaining performance using colourful boxes, a unique bicycle and turning into a superman. Dressed colourfully in a combination of a green and red dress, as the husband sported a colourful wig with matching shoes, the wife looked lovely with a colourful dress.
“I started learning this when I was nine years old. This is my family profession and our children are also into this entertainment business. They are learning now and I am sure they will do a great job. I am planning to take them for shows soon, said the couple.
Visitors thronged to see the couple performing exciting acts. The show began with an act where the couple entertained audiences using colourful boxes which got stuck when thrown in the air. This was followed by a Superman Show, where Oleg turned into a Superman and performed unbelievable balancing acts using his hands and legs.
The couple later regaled audiences with a bicycle show where they balanced on a unique bicycle. After performing in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and many other European countries, this is the couple’s first visit to the UAE.
“Today was our first show, and we are amazed by the kind of response that we are getting from the public here. They are very encouraging. I think Sahara Centre is doing a great job to entertain its visitors during this festive time,” Oleg added.
The shows will run every day in two sessions from 6:30pm – 7:15pm and 7:50pm to 8:45pm until February 27th in Sahara Centre.
