A tribute to the Maghreb and its artists is scheduled to take place in Zenith of Rouen (West France) on May 7. The event, titled ‘The United Maghreb 2005’ will host a long list of famous and popular singers, renowned comedians and young talents, sons of immigrants, who have successfully penetrated the local European music industry.
Among the stars that will take part in the event are the Moroccans: Abdelaziz Stati, Hamid Bouchnak, Said Zenati, Amanouz, Simon Says and Said Mariouari, the Algerian Takfarinas, Haninou and Taliani and the Tunisian: Fatma Boussaha and Cheb Imed. The Moroccan actors, Mohamed El Khiari and Miloud Fahid, will be responsible for the comical relief segments during the show.
<i>Emarrakech</i> reports that the evening is organized by the "Mega Prod Intl" Company and the "Le Pont" (bridge) Association, which had already organized a number of events within the framework of the "Time of Morocco" events in France, in 2000.
