The US and the allied coalition conducted 20 strikes against Daesh targets in Syria and Iraq on Wednesday, according to leaders from the coalition.
The Combined Joint Task Force released a statement on Thursday which said five strikes were dropped near three cities in Syria targeting Daesh headquarters, fighting positions and a logistics facility, among other targets.
In Iraq, the coalition carried out a total of 15 strikes, of whice nine targeted Ramadi and Sinjar, hitting tactical units and destroying heavy machine guns, supply caches, explosive devices and rocket rails, according to the statement.
