US led coalition conducts 11 airstrikes against Daesh

The US and allies' coalition conducted 11 air strikes against Daesh targets in Iraq and Syria on Tuesday, the coalition leading the operations said in a statement on Wednesday.

Three strikes were dropped on the towns of Hit and Sinjar in Iraq, destroying weapons caches, anti-aircraft artillery and rails for rocket-launchers near Hit and heavy machine guns near Sinjar. Kisik and Al Huwayjah in Iraq.

In Syria, two air strikes hit the town of Al Hawl, destroying nine Daesh fighting positions, according to a statement released by the coalition.

The coalition has conducted an average of 24 airstrikes per day since July according to coalition strike data.
