virgin megastore gives junior footballers a kicking start
Today sees the finale of the Snicker Junior Football League, a 7-a-side league, arranged and operated by Esports, and by far the most well-supported football event on the Middle East’s sporting calendar.
Elie El Massih, Marketing Manager of partnering sponsor, Virgin Megastore, says, “Each team is sponsored by a Dubai based corporate, to alleviate the costs for the kids and their families. We proudly took the ‘Virgin Dragons’ and ‘Virgin Sports’ teams under our wing this year. Our teams consist of under 7’s and 1st division under 15s.”
The event invites pupils from a mixture of schools from all over Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi to participate in the event each year, running from 25 October – 13 November, kicking off at the Dubai Country Club.
“We will be involved in the event on an annual basis as part of our CSI programme. This league, with various prizes sponsored by Virgin Megastore, provides a great way for kids to get excited about the game, “says Elie El Massih.
