Visa, FIFA’s exclusive Financial Services partner, has announced the winners of the “Go Fans” promotion with participating banks across Egypt. Every Visa card transaction made from January 15 to February 28, 2010 automatically entered cardholders into the drawing for a chance to win a trip to the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa, including 4-star hotel accommodation, spending money and tickets to a match, and privileged access to exclusive backstage experiences-such as a tour of the stadium and pitch and the opportunity to watch the players warm-up from the sidelines.

Winners of the Visa sponsored trips to the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa are; NSGB client, Amr Ezz Al Arab; Abdel Ghany Mohamed from Al Ahli United Bank; and Sara Mamdouh Gad Ala from Banque Misr.

Visa’s latest FIFA campaign is part of a pan-regional promotion, where Visa cardholders from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Morocco had the chance to win a trip and tickets to the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa.
Several Egyptian banks purchased their own Visa packages to the FIFA World Cup™ and ran their campaigns during Visa’s Pan-Regional campaign with extended deadlines. Seventeen of their Visa cardholders were rewarded with trips to the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa. These campaigns were offered by Barclays Egypt, NSGB Egypt, National Bank of Egypt, Credit Agricole Egypt, and Bank of Alexandria.
