ALBAWABA - In the Jabalia region of northern Gaza, two Israeli cars were reportedly targeted by the armed branch of Hamas, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, using "Shawaz" explosives and a "Yassin 105" rocket shell. The strike resulted in direct hits on the Israeli vehicles, the statement said.

Al-Qassam went on to say that its members killed many Israeli troops by setting up a booby-trapped building where the Israeli soldiers were hiding. They also claimed credit for using "Yassin 105" rounds to hit two Israeli tanks early on Friday morning close to Jabalia.

In a similar event, Islamic Jihad's military wing, Saraya al-Quds, said that it had shot down an Israeli "Quadcopter" drone that was conducting an intelligence operation over northern Gaza. Over Gaza City, another drone of the same kind was apparently caught.

Additional Israeli military hardware, including as personnel carriers and a D9 bulldozer, were targeted by shelling on Friday close to the northern Gaza Strip, according to al-Qassam.

Three soldiers were reported dead by the Israeli military during operations in northern Gaza. Additionally, according to Israeli troops, Division 252 is conducting targeted attacks in central Gaza with the goal of destroying military installations and killing terrorists. The Israeli army said that it had carried out attacks on military structures, weapons storage facilities, and an observation station near Rafah, revealing more weapons and RPG launch platforms in the process.

With both sides continuing to report increasing engagements and tactical reactions, the occurrences represent an escalation of confrontations within the region's continuous combat.
