In celebration of the Children Day in Algeria, marked on June 1, many local art and culture institutions offered rich program of cultural activities and spectacles directed specifically to children. Starting from Monday, May 30 to Monday, June 6, children all over Algeria are able to take part in various art and creation workshops, including theater, music, painting and other workshops and to enjoy performances of magicians, puppets, clowns and story tellers.
<i>La Nouvelle Republique</i> reports that various spectacles and activities will also be organized in a number of hospitals where children are currently hospitalized.
