Israeli forces destroyed the West Bank home of an Islamic Jihad leader, identified as Mohammed Brewesh, on Friday.
Israeli forces arrested Brewesh last summer, the sources said. His home was located in Beit Kahil north of Hebron.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested five Palestinians in the West Bank, the army said.
On the political front, talks between Fatah and other Palestinian groups, planned for next week in Cairo, have been postponed for a second time, after Egypt failed to broker a preliminary agreement between the parties on internal Palestinian issues, media reports said.
A senior Fatah official was quoted as saying Friday that the talks had been postponed mainly because of Israel's assassination of several Palestinian activists in recent days.
The Fatah official said that the Egyptian officials involved in the talks, led by military intelligence chief Omar Sulleiman, have been working on a joint statement of intent for several weeks. (Albawaba.com)
