Published October 4th, 2005 - 09:12 GMT

Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian girl in the West bank city of Nablus, press reports said Tuesday. The Israelis claimed that she tried to stab a soldier at Howwara checkpoint, near Nablus.

Meanwhile on Monday, the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) called on President Mahmoud Abbas to form a new Government. Following the "video conference" meeting, in Ramallah and Gaza, the PLC decided to postpone the vote of no-confidence and called President to form new Government within two weeks.

The PLC said that the new Government should be able to continue reformation, fight corruption and to impose order, WAFA reported. The PLC decision urged President Abbas to reform judiciary system and to dismiss the chiefs of apparatuses who failed to impose order.
