Israeli forces in the West Bank shot dead two Palestinian activists in separate incidents on Tuesday, one of them a commander of the Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade in the city of Tulkaerm, Palestinian officials said.

They said Mohammed Mahmoud Hamad, 23, an Al-Aqsa commander in northern Tulkaerm, was shot dead by undercover Israeli troops, and a second man was captured in the raid.

Early Tuesday, Israeli forces opened fire at three Palestinians near a hospital in the city of Nablus, killing one and injuring two, medical sources said. The victim was identified as Raed Innab, 27, a member of al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, a Fatah military group, and injured two other members of the group, who were sitting in a car near the Ittihad hospital, the sources said.
