The winners of the 2010 Eastern Rally held from April 17 to 22, 2010 in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were honored during a special awards ceremony and dinner hosted by Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co. Ltd. recently.
The Rally took place in the Zubna area on the shores of the Arabian Gulf in the EasternProvince. Two of the three Saudi contestants, Yazeed Al Rajhi and Saleh Aelaidali, ranked first and third, respectively, with Qatar’s Misfer al-Marri coming second. Al Rabie commended the Saudi drivers for bringing pride to their country and honored the successful exploits of Arab athletes in general.
Monther Al Harthi, CEO of Al Rabie, said: “We are proud of the achievements of our Saudi drivers, who embody the true spirit of dedication and excellence. We also congratulate the other competitors who showcased their exceptional competitiveness and skill. Hopefully through their example more Arab youths will be motivated to excel in sports and any other activity they engage in.”
