Tomorrow 26th July, Xerox, the world leader in digital print will be hosting their ‘Digitally Cool’ event in the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Jordan to give enterprise customers an insight into why digital printing is critical in helping businesses boost volume & profits. Invitees to this event will see Xerox’s latest advances in digital colour technology and workflow solutions. Experts from Xerox, Pantone and Creo with other strategic partners will demonstrate how businesses in the Middle East and Jordan in particular can save money and maximize business opportunities by investing in advanced workflow solutions.

Oussama Hammad, General Manager of Arabian Office Automation, Jordan - Xerox’s business partner and exclusive distributor in Jordan - and Ben Gale, MEA General Manager, Sales & Marketing, Distributor Operations, Xerox International, will be speaking at ‘Digitally Cool’ in Amman at the event about the changing face of the print industry and the importance of partnership between local distributors and Xerox International. Hammad and Gale will be joined by a panel of leading industry experts from around the globe who will discuss all areas of print and business management associated with the “New Business of Printing”.

The ‘Digitally Cool’ event will highlight industry trends, latest developments in workflow solutions as well as a step-by-step look at business building programmes.  Xerox’s newest, fastest colour printers will also be in action and these will include the DocuColor 6060and the DocuColor8000, which will be launched at the event. The DocuColor 8000 prints up to 4,800 pages per hour with outstanding 2400 dpi resolution and accommodates production requirements for catalogs, broachers, manuals, presentations, newsletters and variable data. The DocuColor 8000 boasts highly efficient, profitable short-run and variable printing capabilities.

“The new business of printing is about helping our customers unleash the power of Digital Printing and find new ways to increase revenue and grow their business,” said Gale. “For today’s digital printers, the biggest impact on their business will come from workflow. At Xerox we streamline all aspects of workflow enabling our customers to react faster to their customers, address the new market opportunities open to them and take advantage of the increased margins associated with digital print.” Xerox’s key message to businesses in the region is that they need to look at the print job from planning stage to implementation therefore considering the whole process and not just the printed output.

Key customers from Jordan and Lebanon will be attending today’s event. Enterprise businesses from different sectors, such as telcos and banking will discover the importance of digital colour quality in the face of increasing print management demands and how this can help them to boost their own profits and productivity levels. Print on demand and short-run printing are key trends that have changed the face of the print industry in America & Europe. Xerox expects the same to happen in the Middle East.

The Middle East is a growing region for marketing activities and the potential benefits of colour for document production are not yet realized.
