In its aim to establish itself as a supporter of social and development initiatives, XPress Telecommunications recently sponsored a breakfast event that was organized by The Jerusalem Forum with the Palestinian Al SADA Fund. Proceeds from this event went towards Al-Amal Center for Physiotherapy in Nablus.
By sponsoring this event, XPress will be providing medical and financial support to around 800,000 individuals treated at the center. Al-Amal Center, which was first established in Nablus in the year 1991, is considered the first of its type in the West Bank, for it provides medical support, and counseling for its patients, and on another level it also secures careers for people with physical disabilities.
Explaining the motives behind the company's support, XPress Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Ashraf Samawi said "We believe it is our duty to support Palestinians who are physically or mentally challenged or who are facing difficult living conditions on account of the Palestinian / Israeli conflict. They are part of region, and this is one of the simplest ways in which we can show that we feel with them, and that we understand what they are going through''
"XPress always strives to help those who instill hope in the hearts of the less fortunate members of society, and by contributing to the SADA fund, which is one that supports the Al-Amal center in Nablus for people with special needs alongside other health related and development projects, we hope to establish the reputation of our organization as one that is a promoter of brighter futures and better living conditions for the individuals forming part of our region" added Mr. Samawi.
