YEA continues to offer mentoring, training and counseling services for the Jordanian youth to assist them to manage their businesses and projects successfully. These services were first introduced in 2002 after conducting intensive research to track the impact of mentoring on the success of development.

The research showed that 80 – 90 % of newly-established business projects are liable to failure due to lack of mentoring and direction by economic experts and risk-management specialists, while only one or two projects out of 10 succeed. The YEA research also includes identifying reasons behind business failure where lack of mentoring and direction was a key cause of such failure.

As a result, the YEA took on the responsibility of serving the local community through offering mentoring, counseling and direction services to allow the Jordanian youth better run their projects and business plans through holding workshops, trainings and meeting related to business development, self development, decision-making and many other personal skills.

“I first joined YEA in 2002 and started taking mentoring courses by Mr. Laith al Qasim, who has wide experience in mentoring. The philosophy behind these courses was to create experts in running businesses and pioneer projects professionally and successfully and I believe that these courses were valuable and enabled me to develop my business and forge my experience and competences.” said Mr. Samer Jabari, member of YEA.

YEA is a premier association for serving the Jordanian youth throughout offering them mentoring, direction and self-development services. These services comprise of holding workshops and trainings, which aim at enhancing the capabilities of youth who aspire to establish their own businesses and contribute to the success of the local community.
