Yemen's former president Ali Abdullah Saleh has urged all sides in Yemen's conflict to return to political dialogue to end to the ongoing violence in the country, Reuters has reported.
"I call on all conflicting parties in all provinces to stop fighting and return to dialogue in all provinces," Saleh said in an statement by email.
Saudi Arabia and its allies announced an end to its one-month bombing campaign in Yemen earlier this week but there have since been further airstrikes.
Those loyal to Saleh had been fighting with the Houthis against supporters of President Abed Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
