Yemen’s President Ali Abdulla Saleh conveyed Thursday Sanaa’s dedication at arriving at a resolution to the prolonged problem of Kuwaiti Prisoners of War held in Iraq for over ten years.
According to the Kuwait News Agency, Saleh made this affirmation as he met in Sanaa with visiting Sheikh Salem Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah, chairman of the national committee for missing and POW affairs (NCMPA) and his accompanying delegation.
The Kuwaiti delegation is currently on a tour of several Arab countries including Syria, Egypt, and Lebanon aimed at promoting the issue of the POWs.
Furthermore, President Saleh promised the Kuwaiti delegation he would continue working with the Iraqis in order to end to this problem. (Albawaba.com)
