Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday said that "popular resistance" is the legitimate right of the Palestinian people under international conventions and international law. Abbas mentioned that the Quartet issued a statement on Friday demanding an important implementation. The statement stressed the obligation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to implement the articles included in the statement.
The Palestinian leader stated that the Israeli attacks and provocations are still continuing but despite all of this, the Palestinian people is under control.
