ALBAWABA - A video has been circulating the Iranian accounts on social media, especially on X, allegedly showing Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei inside a passenger plane.

Footage was reportedly leaked from inside a commercial plane, allegedly showed the moment when Ali Khamenei passed by next to other people on a plane.

Iranian accounts have been widely circulating the clip and claiming that following the latest war between Israel and Iran, Ali Khamenei knew that his term was coming to an end, so he left the country.

One online user posted the clip and wrote the caption: "Video of the moment Khamenei escapes from Iran on a passenger plane because he knows his regime will soon be overthrown."

Another person allegedly said on X: "After Israel's recent attacks on Iran... Reports of Khamenei's escape are being heard."

During the Iran-Israel war, which lasted for 12 days, the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was moved to a secure place underground as the Iranian authorities were afraid for his life.

On June 24, US President Donald Trump announced via Truth Social a ceasefire between Tehran and Tel Aviv, ending what he called a "12-day war".

Ali Khamenei's last post on X read: "The Zionist regime must know that attacking the Islamic Republic of Iran will result in a heavy cost for them."
