ALBAWABA - As world leaders arrive in France for the G7 summit, videos from the meeting flooded social media as people noticed that Donald Trump might have ignored the Ukrainian president.
The G7 leaders will be discussing several topics, including the war between Russia and Ukraine, in addition to the conflicts in the Middle East, in Evian city, eastern France.
The 52nd meeting will be held from June 15 to 17 with the attendance of many leaders, including German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and Prime Minister of the UK Keir Starmer.
Did Trump ignore Zelenskyy at the G7 summit?
A clip went viral on X showing the President of the U.S. walking as he shakes hands with other attendees of the G7 summit, while he ignored the presence of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
One activist said, "Zelensky looking slightly nonplussed as Trump seems to ignore him while going on to greet other G7 leaders at today's summit in France."
It is worth noting that Trump had once invited Zelenskyy to the White House, where he rebuked him during their meeting in the Oval Office.
Trump aggressively rebuked Zelenskyy, telling him he was "gambling with World War III" and delivering an ultimatum to "make a deal" with Russia, warning him, "you're either going to make a deal, or we're out."
