ALBAWABA - In a shocking crime on the night of Eid Al-Adha, a Syrian man shot dead five Syrians and injured two others in the Turkish city of Gaziantep.

A horrific crime took place in southern Turkey, where a Syrian man holding a gun opened fire killing 5 Syrian young men, then committed suicide after being chased by the police.

The incident began when the attacker, who suffers from psychological illnesses, entered a barbershop on Vatan Street in the Şahinbey area, where he shot a young Syrian man, killing him instantly, according to the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet.

The Syrian attacker then left for the Ojuklar area, where he entered a house and shot at the people there, killing four young Syrian men and wounding two others.

After the shooting, the man was chased by the police before he killed himself and committed suicide.

While investigations are still underway to uncover the circumstances of the incident, police teams have taken extensive security measures in the areas where the events occurred.
