ALABWABA - Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut's southern suburb on Friday, Sept. 27, along with other Hezbollah commanders including Ali Karaki, the commander of the Southern Front.

The killing of Hassan Nasrallah came a few days after Israel announced more intensive attacks targeting Hezbollah positions across the country as they requested people in Lebanon to "move out" of the party locations.

The Israeli continuous attacks on Lebanon are amid the ongoing rockets fired by the Lebanese movement targeting northern Israel in support of Hamas and the Palestinian people.

Is Hassan Nasrallah’s funeral scheduled for Friday?

While nothing was announced yet regarding the details of Nasrallah's funeral, some SIareli media reported that the funeral of the Hezbollah leader is expected to take place on Friday, Oct. 10.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reportedly said that Hezbollah is planning to bury the body of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Friday. However, nothing was confirmed by the party.

Meanwhile, some sources told Alarabiya earlier that the funeral of Nasrallah was expected last Monday but it was delayed to an unknown date.

It is worth noting that the body of Hezbollah's secretary-general was recovered from the site of the Israeli bombing on the southern suburb of Beirut, which claimed his life. Sources indicated that the body was intact, as they said that his body had no direct wounds, and it appears that the cause of death was severe shock from the force of the explosion.
