ALBAWABA - Car racing driver Noah Gragson was suspended after a "like" he added on a post on social media mocking George Floyd.
NASCAR and Legacy Motor Club have cancelled driver Noah Gragson indefinitely after the American car racing driver reacted to a post mocking George Floyd, a man who was killed by a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Noah Gragson will be missing Sunday’s Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway over his "action on social media," NASCAR driver team revealed.

In a statement, the team said: "We have made the decision to suspend Noah Gragson effective immediately regarding his actions that do not represent the values of our team."
It added: "Josh Berry will drive the No. 42 entry for this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan."
According to X users (formerly known as Twitter), driver Noah Gragson liked a meme on Instagram making fun of American-African man George Floyd who was killed during his arrest in the United States.
The driver apologized and posted that he regret his actions on social media. He wrote: "I am disappointed in myself for my lack of attention and actions on social media."
Many social media users have defended the 25-year-old American driver as some defended Noah Gragson claiming that the NASCAR driver was not the one who liked the post.
A person commented: "He didn't make it, somebody on his phone liked it."
A netizen said: "If we bow to this now, get ready for social credit scoring."
On the other hand, some people defended Noah Gragson saying that NASCAR doesn't have the right to suspend the car racing driver for a like on social media as a person wrote: "Extremely disappointed with NASCAR and never going there again!!!"
