ALBAWABA - Photos emerged on social media platforms showing shoes from Nike and Adidas themed with the colors of the Israeli flag to show support amid the war in Gaza.

Some shoes carried the sentence "I Stand With Israel". Nike and Adidas were already among the brands that were affected by the latest boycott campaign launched by pro-Palestinian activists for their support of the occupation state.

After the photos were shared online, pro-Palestinian advocates renewed their calls to boycott Nike and Adidas.

According to the alleged photos, each pair of shoes costs between $255 to $370 and they are specially designed with the colors of the Israeli flag and the Star of David. Furthermore, some designs had slogans written in Hebrew.

However, it wasn't confirmed that the designs were made by Nike and Adidas, but according to a social media user, the new Israeli-themed shoes were customized and created by Stadium Custom Kicks.

Sports Business Reporter, Darren Rovell, posted on X (formerly Twitter): "This Sunday against the Raiders, various people within the Vikings organization will be supporting Israel on their feet. Kicker Greg Joseph’s cleats and sneakers that will be worn by the Wilfs and team CEO Andrew Miller. Custom designed by @stadiumck."

Yesterday, Puma, a German sportswear company, announced that it will be parting ways with the National Israeli football team. However, it added that the decision is not related to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Puma explained that its decision was "made a year ago and has nothing to do with the boycott campaigns."
