ALBAWABA - In a development that is set to fuel intrigue, Valery Solovey, a prominent Russian political analyst often associated with unconventional theories, has made a sensational claim regarding Wagner group leader Prigozhin. According to Solovey, Prigozhin did not perish in a recent plane crash; instead, he employed a decoy in the incident and may now be plotting a vengeful course of action.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the influential founder and head of the controversial private military entity known as the Wagner group, reportedly met his demise along with 10 others in a plane crash last week. However, doubts surrounding his death continue to circulate despite that members of the Wagner group confirmed the death of Prigozhin on Sunday.

The latest twist in the narrative comes from Valery Solovey, a Russian political scholar recognized for his penchant for "conspiracy theories." Solovey alleges that Prigozhin staged his death by using a body double during the plane crash, thereby evading the tragic outcome. Solovey goes further to speculate that Prigozhin may be orchestrating a scheme of reprisal.

This claim has ignited fervent discussions, with speculations even reaching the highest echelons of Russian leadership. It is suggested that even President Putin is cognizant of this supposed ruse and the prospect of Prigozhin's potential vendetta. Fueling the intrigue, a passport purportedly linked to Prigozhin's alleged double has surfaced on social media, lending an air of credence to the startling assertion.

Dr. Solovey, remarked, "No trace of Prigozhin's DNA was found amidst the crash wreckage. The plane did not succumb to an internal explosion." He underscored Prigozhin's substantial financial resources, drawing attention to his possession of $1.7 billion worth of Bitcoin. Solovey posits that this extensive wealth could potentially be utilized for mounting a renewed offensive.

The potent combination of Solovey's claims and these visual confirmations have elicited varying responses, with a significant segment of individuals on the widely-used Russian social media platform Telegram (38% according to a poll) entertaining the notion that Prigozhin's purported demise is, in fact, a ruse.

The narrative surrounding the plane crash remains shrouded in ambiguity. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported 10 fatalities resulting from the downed private jet in the Tver region.

Rosaviatsiya, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency, divulged that among the casualties was Yevgeny Prigozhin, a figure central to the Wagner group. Yet, alternative theories attributing the crash to interference by Russian military systems have emerged, predominantly disseminated through Telegram channels associated with the Wagner group.

As the world awaits further evidence and revelations, the narrative of Prigozhin's alleged survival and subsequent plot thickens, shrouding the controversy in an air of suspense.
