ALBAWABA - American daily newspaper, The Washington Post, has sparked debate on social media after removing the "War in Ukraine" section.
The Washington Post has not clarified its decision to remove the "War in Ukraine" section, however, many theories were sparked online as people wondered why the American newspaper removed the section while the war is been ongoing since Feb. 24, 2022.

The Washington Post removes the 'War in Ukraine' section:
"Has the war in Ukraine ended?," many questioned online saying that The Washington Post might have secret information that the Russian war in Ukraine is reaching a dead end and that Ukraine might likely surrender to the situation.
Earlier, the United States was said to possibly be pressuring Ukraine to agree to a peace deal with Russia. NBC News reported citing one current senior U.S. official and one former senior U.S. official familiar with the discussions that a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine is underway and will mean the end of the war.
Meanwhile, many other netizens claimed that the war in Gaza is now catching attention worldwide and made Ukraine's war less important to focus on, as some activists said that The Washington Post might be replacing the "War in Ukraine" section with another one related to the Israeli-Gaza war which began on Oct. 7 leading to the death of over 20,000
Palestinians.
On the other side, people on social media allegedly predicted that since The Washington Post is a leading newspaper in the US, it might have removed the section to downplay the war in Ukraine to pressure the US government and prevent it from sending millions of dollars in military aid to Zelenskyy which according to them is affecting the economy in the country.
