ALBAWABA- In a shocking incident from India's Nani Daman locality, a woman allegedly killed her two young sons by throwing them off the fourth-floor balcony of her residence late Monday night.
The accused, identified as Seema Yadav, reportedly took the drastic step following a heated domestic dispute with her husband.
According to police, the tragedy unfolded in Dalwada, and the authorities were alerted by the Moti Daman community health center about the fall.
The two toddlers, both under three years of age, were rushed to the health center but were declared dead on arrival.
Daman, a city located on the western coast of India, is part of the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. This territory is situated along the Arabian Sea and lies close to the state of Gujarat.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the mother attempted to take her own life after committing the act but survived.
Seema Yadav has been arrested, and further inquiries are ongoing.
