Orange Jordan visits Oasis 500

Orange Jordan’s CEO Nayla Khawam recently visited Oasis 500 program where she shared with a group of young entrepreneurs her extensive experience and career in the telecom field and the successes she achieved, proving the leading role women can play in the global business world.
This visit comes as part of the partnership agreement signed between the two parties aiming to motivate young entrepreneurs to fulfill their dreams and ambitions though a real-time model of success. Khawam also tackled the beginning of her career, the vision she has set for herself, the journey she took to reach where she is today. Moreover, she spoke about the obstacles and challenges she faced while building her career path, pointing out that they were a push for her to carry on achieve her dreams.
“The talent and the passion you all have are priceless. Jordan is in need of your enthusiasm and open-minded vision, which will help place it among the region’s leading countries in the telecom and digital technology field. We, at Orange Jordan, are very proud of you. We are here to provide you with the support to help you utilize your capabilities and creativity to the maximum,” Khawam said.
For his part Dr. Fayyad, CEO of Oasis 500, expressed his gratitude for the support Orange Jordan provided to the 4th and 5th waves of the training courses. “We praise the partnership that brings us together with Orange Jordan, a company that is a role model in both the private and publics sectors in terms of supporting the projects that help entrepreneurs direct their personal and professional lives, thus enriching the local and regional economy,” he added.
Following her session, Khawam visited a number of the companies that were enrolled in the 4th and 5th waves of Oasis 500 and which were supported by Orange Jordan. The companies included Break to Click, Arabia Weddings, Roznamati.com. In her visit, Khawam talked to the entrepreneurs about the work flow of each company and discussed with them the updates and challenges they face.
Orange Jordan has signed a partnership agreement with Oasis 500 to support 120 entrepreneurs as well as help them establish their projects in the ICT field.
