Pompeo Starts Official Middle East Tour From Jordan

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has arrived in Jordan considering it the first stop of a Middle East visit which is likely to include stops in Egypt and the Gulf region.

King Abdullah and Pompeo discussed many opportunities to enhance ties in all fields, a Royal Court statement said. Media reports show Pompeo is expected make an important foreign policy speech in Cairo on Thursday.
