When Graffiti Matters the Most: Banksy in Palestine

Published May 6th, 2018 - 09:37 GMT

Banksy is an anonymous England-based graffiti artist, political activist and film director. His satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humour with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique.

Like much of his work and street art in general have a flourish of whimsy with a solid anti-establishment message.

Thanks to Banksy, the world is looking at Gaza. Banksy isn't shy about his politics with respect to Gaza. Gaza seams to him as 'the world's largest open air prison' because no-one is allowed to enter or leave.
