Riyadh-based Al-Hilal snatched King Cup Championship from Jeddah-based Al-Ahli team in a tasteful match patronized by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at Jeddah King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Sports City stadium on Thursday, crushing their rivals three-two with the first half ending one love before the monarch's arrival.

Omar Kherbain, a Syrian professional of Al-Hilal scored the first goal of the match and of his team in the 28th while Mutaz Hawsawe got the equalizer in the 43rd.

In the 77th of the second half, Mohammed Jahfali added Al-Hilal's second and Carlos Eduardo, Brazilian, made it three for Al-Hilal.

As the match was nearing an end, Omar Al-Soma, a Syrian substitute, adjusted the embarrassing result for the hosts from the penalty spot, making it three two.
