Al Jaish football team became the champion of the Syrian Premier League for the 17th time in its history following the match between Al Wehda and Tishreen which ended in a draw on Friday in the penultimate round of the Premier League.
Al Jaish became the champion after Al Wehda and Tishreen concluded their match at Al-Fayhaa Stadium in Damascus with one goal each, which put Tishreen at second place with 50 points, and Al Wehda in third place with 48 points, leaving Al Jaish in first place at 53 points.
