Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim is open to taking the job at Manchester City in the near future, according to iNews.
The 39-year-old has been tipped to succeed Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium, with the Spaniard's deal expiring at the end of the season.
Amorim is believed to be flattered by City's interest and would be glad to take the job if an opportunity arises.
The Portuguese has been at Sporting since 2020, and his current deal runs until 2026.
Guardiola is yet to make it clear that he is committed to remaining at Manchester City beyond this season, which has prompted talk about his successor.
