Manchester United fans, furious at Marouane Fellaini's giving-away of a late penalty to allow Everton to rescue a point in Sunday's Premier League encounter, have been calling for the midfielder's head.

The Belgian had only been on the pitch for two minutes when, in the 87th minute of the game, he caught Idrissa Gueye in the area to concede a spot-kick, with United only 1-0 up.

Leighton Baines duly held his nerve to cancel out Zlatan Ibrahimovic's opener, prompting United supporters to fly into a fury on Twitter.

Fellaini, signed for United by David Moyes, has long been a source of frustration for fans but has made 12 competitive appearances so far under Jose Mourinho.
