Five officials of the Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) have been recently nominated to the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) standing committees, according to a press release from the OOC on Wednesday.
OOC secretary general Taha al Kishry was nominated into the sports committee while Dr Sultan al Busaidi, chairman of the Oman Anti-Doping Committee, was made a member of the medical committee.
Mansoor al Tauqi, chairman of the Oman Paralympic Committee, was nominated to the athletes’ panel; Saada al Ismaili, an OOC board member, was picked for the women’s and sports committee and Khamis al Balushi was nominated as a member of the media committee.
