Liverpool are following Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush, as per Welt Am Sonntag.

The Reds have kept an eye on the Egyptian star for quite some time now.

Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, West Ham, Tottenham and Newcastle United were all interested in signing the 25-year-old during the summer, but he eventually remained in Germany.

It is believed that Frankfurt could demand around £40 million for the player.

Marmoush, stole the headlines on Sunday with two goals and an assist in his team's thrilling 3-3 draw at home against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

The center-forward managed to net 26 goals in 50 appearances with the German giants across all competitions so far.
