Real Madrid icon Guti has urged the club to sign Manchester City ace Erling Haaland.

Although the European champions brought in Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer in the summer, the France international is yet to click with teammates Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes upfront.

Guti said during the presentation of ‘Five Teams, Five Stars’, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo: "He started well with the European Super Cup but in the League, the draws make a lot of noise outside. With the arrival of Kylian, he has to adjust certain things, but he will improve as the days go by".

“I would sign Haaland. I hope he is Real Madrid’s next target.”

Haaland's current deal at Manchester City is set to reach its expiry date in the summer of 2027.

The 24-year-old is currently valued at €180 million, according to Transfermarkt.
