The delegation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), a number of Kuwaiti sports officials, Public Authority for Sport (PAS) started a meeting to discuss lifting the suspension of Kuwaiti sports.

The meeting was attended by Director General of PAS Dr. Hmoud Al-Fulaiteh, Board Member Dr. Mohamed Al-Faily and Commission Advisor Dr. Saqr Al-Mulla.

The delegation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), headed by Deputy Director-General and International Relations Officer of the Commission Peru Miro, accompanied by Chairman of the Committee on Governance, Jerome Boavi, head of Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) James Carr, Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) honorary life vice-president Wei Jizhong and Director of OCA Haider Farman.

PAS received a letter from the IOC last month showing its desire to come to Kuwait to complete the discussion of final solutions to lift the suspension of Kuwaiti sport.
