The former international superstar, Ahmed Radhi, died after his health deteriorated late last night.
Radhi was lying in Al-Numan Hospital in the capital, Baghdad, a few days ago, after he was infected with the emerging coronavirus, as his condition varied between stable and deteriorating during the last period.
The health condition of the former international star deteriorated late last night, so he died, before catching his plane to Amman at dawn today.
Ahmed Radhi was supposed to leave for the Jordanian capital, Amman, at exactly two o'clock in the morning at Baghdad time.
