Sports Speaker MENA have announced that another fantastic evening of entertainment has been lined-up with former England and Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher coming to Bahrain on May 29 from 7.30pm for a sports dinner evening at the Diplomat Radisson Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa.

Anyone who watches Sky Sports will know what a great evening of entertainment this will be. Carragher is a character and knows his football and talks straight and true about football, its stars and the trails and tribulations of the modern game.

As well as being a pundit for Sky Sports, he is also a columnist for the Daily Mail and club ambassador for Liverpool and England.

Carragher was Liverpool’s vice-captain for 10 years, and hold’s the club’s second highest appearance record with 737 matches under his belt in all competitions and holds the record for the most appearances in European competition for Liverpool at 150 and is the second longest serving player at the club of all-time.

He is also a European Champions League winner and part of the famous 2005 Liverpool team that triumphed in Istanbul team and has also won the UEFA Cup, European Super Cup, FA Cup, League Cup and Charity Shield.

On two occasions Carragher made the Premier League team of the year and was Liverpool Player of the Season on three and capped for England 38 times and played in three World Cups and several European Championships.

Currently Carragher is a pundit on Sky Sports alongside Gary Neville, Thierry Henry, Jamie Redknapp and Graeme Souness.
