Games come thick & fast for the Premier League clubs who enter the second stage of the season with the transfer window on the horizon. As tiredness creeps in, except upsets this weekend.
Chelsea v Liverpool (Sunday)
Wouldn’t Chelsea love to have Luis Suarez? Sadly for Chelsea they could face a nightmare afternoon on Sunday with pace coming at them from the attacking third of the pitch. Liverpool at City looked so much confident and made a presence that has been lacking for a number of seasons. Mourinho’s game plan is simple and what it has been all season… score & shut-up-shop. Mourinho’s unbeaten record at Stamford Bridge stands at 69 games and all things must come to an end.
Prediction 1-2
Newcastle v Arsenal (Sunday)
There’s no rest for The Gunners and face a trip to the North-East to face a Newcastle side who are playing with full of confidence. There’s one thing coming from behind against West Ham to win, but if Arsenal fall behind to Newcastle & manage to win, that’s a sign of champions. The key player in the game will be Theo Walcott who has been a revelation for Arsenal since returning from injury. He offers a more wide option with a lot of pace and enjoys playing The Toon. Walcott scored a hat-trick against Newcastle last season as well as troubling their defence on the last game of the season.
