The new Paris Saint-Germain's (PSG) advertisement campaign with Ooredoo is the most significant TV ad the club has had in the past years and it will help develop the club's brand as one of the top ten sport franchises in the world, PSG Deputy CEO Frederic Longuepee has said.

Speaking with Qatar Tribune on Tuesday, Longuepee said:"This campaign, called"Fans Do Wonders", is probably the most important TV ad the club had the opportunity to shoot in the past years. Thanks to Ooredoo, one of our top sponsors for almost two years now, we have created a very strong relationship, very successful collaboration and we look forward to a continuing relationship in the coming years.

"This type of project not only helps us to promote the brand, but also to help us achieve our goal to become one of the top ten sport franchise in the world.

"Ooredoo is a key partner that has helped in developing the awareness about the Paris Saint Germain brand around the world, especially in key markets like Middle East & North Africa (MENA) and Indonesia. Also, Oeredoo has helped in bringing the PSG Academy's soccer camps to kids in Qatar and the region. This campaign perfectly illustrates the strong commitment between the two brands and we expect it will deliver a great success to our fans and Ooredoo customers around the world."

Since Qatar Sports Investments took over more than three years ago, PSG has steadily progressed to be one of the best European football powerhouse and this is thanks to one of our sponsors," Longuepee added.

The Qatar Winter Tour has always been an opportunity for the team to enjoy excellent weather conditions and to prepare for a new year, but last year the team headed to Marrakech, Morocco.

Asked if the Parisians will be visiting Qatar soon, Longuepee said:"We have been coming to Qatar for the past four years now during winter. The last time we came to Qatar was in 2013 and we look forward to returning pretty soon."

Speaking on PSG's chances against Barcelona in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final match at the Parc des Princess on Wednesday, Longuepee said:"PSG is the only European club still competing in four competitions. We just won the French League Cup, qualified for the French Cup final, we are front-runner in Ligue 1 championship and we will play another important game today against Barcelona for the quarter-final. We have a big team like Barcelona as PSG is now one of the top European clubs. So it should be a great game and the best team should win."

Asked about Zlatan Ibrahimovic's four game suspension for his infamous outburst during a Ligue 1 game, Longuepee said:"I don't think anything about what happens on the pitch. I am here to celebrate the launch of a fantastic campaign ad. I'm pretty convinced Zlatan will like to shoot ad campaign and he will like to watch it on TV and his colleagues as well."
