Manchester United are reportedly willing to give manager Erik ten Hag more time, despite the team's shaky start to the season.

Club directors met to assess the situation, and it has been decided to stand by the Dutch boss after the international break, as per Sky Sports.

Earlier reports claimed the Red Devils are considering Thomas Tuchel for the job, however, there has been no approach made to bring in the German.

Ten Hag was given assurances when he met United's officials following Sunday's 0-0 draw at Aston Villa.

Manchester United have already lost three games as they sit 14th in the Premier League.
