The newly-elected board of the Oman Hockey Association (OHA) under Talib al Wahaibi is keen to develop hockey in public and private schools involving expatriate and Omani children.
In order to achieve the objective, the OHA is holding a meeting with various stakeholders on Wednesday.
“We would like to have a frank chat on how to involve schools, comprising expatriates and Omanis, and ways to promote the game. We will like to know the views of parents, school teachers, clubs, sports and education ministries, and the media,” said Khamis al Rahbi, the OHA secretary general.
