Journalist Henry Winter has revealed that Marcus Rashford is preparing to leave Manchester United during the upcoming winter transfer window in January.
Rashford spoke to Winter during a school event yesterday, expressing his readiness for a "new challenge," signaling the potential end of his time with the Red Devils.
Rashford Ready to Depart Manchester United
Winter stated on "BBC World" Service this morning: "Rashford was keen to emphasize his deep respect for Manchester United, and made it clear that he does not want to leave the club in an inappropriate manner, unlike some players in the past."
He added: "There is a great deal of respect between both sides, but it seems an inevitable parting is coming. I hope he gets a proper send-off, as he has contributed a lot to the club."
Rashford’s Journey with Manchester United
Marcus Rashford joined Manchester United’s academy at the age of seven in 2003. He rose through the ranks before breaking into the first team in 2016. Since then, he has become one of the club’s standout players, scoring over 100 goals in 425 appearances for the Red Devils.
