Tottenham v Liverpool: Projected Lineups

Published December 15th, 2013 - 02:25 GMT

Tottenham and Liverpool both are on the back of two wins on the bounce and the Reds will head to London with great confidence despite the loss of Steven Gerrard for the next month.

Daniel Sturridge as well remains on the sidelines and it leaves some openings as to where the Reds will find their next players to step up.

Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson and Joe Allen will have massive importance on the club's forward action and the speed of young Raheem Sterling in support of Luis Suarez could be the difference against the Tottenham defense.

Spurs also have several injuries to deal with at the moment as the will be missing Jan Vertonghen and potentially even Vlad Chiriches if it all goes worst case scenario.

The biggest problem for the North London club this season has been goals and not scoring enough of them. If Liverpool get on the board early then they will have the up most advantage of taking spurs down and increasing their points total.

Tottenham XI: Lloris; Walker, Dawson, Chiriches, Rose; Sandro, Dembele; Lennon, Paulinho, Chadli; Defoe.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet; Johnson, Skrtel, Sakho, Flanagan; Allen, Lucas; Henderson, Coutinho, Sterling; Suarez.
